What is a pit cover?

At its core, a pit cover is a protective plate that covers an opening in the ground to prevent people and equipment from falling. But the right pit cover does more than just “cover the hole.”

We weld together a checkered steel plate and flat steel. The checkered steel plate provides a non-slip surface, while the flat steel at the bottom ensures excellent load-bearing capacity without being too heavy.

The checkered plate is 3mm thick, but we also offer 4mm, 5mm and 6mm thicknesses to meet your requirements for strength and durability.
